Mr. Neil Robertson, Q.C.
in recognition of service to policing in Saskatchewan.
Neil Robertson, Q.C. has provided considerable assistance to municipal police agencies in Saskatchewan for approximately fifteen years. His contributions include; researching and producing a reference guide for municipal police boards, completing a compendium of Police Act/Discipline regulation hearing decisions, and providing instruction and lectures to officers, including recruits, in the area of policing and the Police Act.
Mr. Robertson has worked on a committee developing a Code of Ethics for Saskatchewan, and been involved in discussions with Aboriginal and First Nations groups on the new public complaints process, as well as discussions with a variety of groups on Police Act changes, default conviction and pawn shop regulations.
The work and dedication of Neil Robertson, Q.C, is recognized and appreciated by those in policing. The Saskatchewan Association of Chiefs of Police commends Neil Robertson, Q.C. for his commitment and assistance to police agencies in Saskatchewan by awarding him with the President's Award.
