The Saskatchewan Association of Chiefs of Police is proud to present

S/Sgt. Randy Huisman of the Saskatoon Police Service

Excellence in Performance Award

S/Sgt. Huisman is a 28 year veteran of the Saskatoon Police Service and has made a considerable contribution to Criminal Investigations in Saskatoon and surrounding area. His investigative acumen was built working in Vice, the Street Gang Unit, and Major Crime. He exemplifies the qualities and attributes of an extremely capable, thorough, and dedicated investigator.

S/Sgt. Huisman has been the lead investigator on several high profile homicide investigations involving part VI wiretaps, one party consent authorizations, agent handling, and other modern investigative techniques. Whether it is in his capacity as the primary investigator, lead interviewer, affiant, file coordinator, or team commander, S/Sgt. Huisman has shown exemplary performance in his work. His investigative efforts have been greatly appreciated by the families of the victims, the Crown, the Court, and the Saskatoon Police Service.
